From bash.org

Heres the history of our medicine:

"I have a sore throat."
2000 BC : "eat this root"
1200 AD : "That root is heathen, say this prayer."
1500 AD : "That prayer is superstition, drink this elixir."
1800 AD : "That elixir is snake oil, Take this pill."
1900 AD : "That pill is ineffective, Take this antibiotic."
2000 AD : "That antibiotic is artificial, here why dont you eat this root?"

Haha! That is what happened with atoms! They were introduced by the Ancient Greeks at around 500 BC, and then 2.5 millennia later in the 20th century (1922 Niels Bohr), they were reintroduced (redefined) again. Or you could make the similarly intriguing point that we went from atoms (atomic theory) to strings (string theory)- from balls to strings. The atom, like the string, is an equally absurd way to explain reality LOL! Correct though they may be, soulful they are not. And so goes the way of human knowledge- fated, I guess, to forever return back on itself, with the human crushed in the middle, sick, still, and perhaps, forevermore; the antibiotic and the root, like the string and the atom, unable to cure the malady.

Why are strings and atoms absurd ways to explain reality? You should perhaps define 'reality'.

Why the term 'soulful'? I never used that to explain anything on this blog. What do you mean by it?

You should perhaps quit hiding behind intellect and state an actual argument instead of LOLling from above me. I'm sure it makes you feel like an incredibly being.
